I’ve received a concerned email from Katrocket over the state of the Idea of Progress Day, which is as I’m sure you know celebrated annually every November 26th. Why has the Idea of Progress not been participating this year? Where has he been?

It’s been one heck of a year, hasn’t it? With the election season finally coming to an end, a season that’s lasted longer than this blog I think. Personally I have had a hectic year as well– Met a fantastic young lady (the SLFotIoP), moved across the country with her. Today, in fact, I made steps towards adopting a dog. This, by the way, is the most personal information I’ve ever given out in one post– I trust you won’t hold it against me.

You can always tell how busy I am by the frequency of my posting. It’s been pretty spare as of late.

I would just like to wish everyone out there a Happy Idea of Progress Day. I hope things are going as well for you as they are for me.
