Don’t Let the Door Hit You on the Way Out!
MSNBC has cancelled Tucker Carlson’s show, Tucker.
It’s about time. Tucker is everything I hate in TV punditry– ill informed, smarmy and mule-headed. He’s not as bad as Sean Hannity (or even worse, Joe Scarborough) but as Monica says, he’s a poo tissue. I can deal with a Reaganite (barely), but not when they’re masquerading as a populist.
It was a matter of great satisfaction to see him get torn a new one by Jon Stewart on an infamous episode of Crossfire, Carlson’s previous show.
Tucker, I hope you go back to whatever rock you crawled out from under.

Oh yeah, I remember this. Thought it was awesome then, and it’s still awesome now. Tucker is such a douche bag. I’ve seen his more recent show… and no matter how I try, I can never get those minutes of my life back. And the bowtie? Really?
That was one of my favorite television moments of all time. Tucker couldn’t have looked more foolish.
I believe he lives either in or directly near my hometown, and got in a local pissing contest with a video store clerk who posted some of his info on his blog that no one reads.
It was an excellent display of how little protection we would like to afford douchefaces.
There goes my fantasy of yanking off his stupid bow tie and stuffing it up his nose.
HATE that guy.
But where will I get my style guidance on bow ties from Now????
Not only that, he’s a terrible ballroom dancer.
Tucker hasn’t gone away though. He’s got TV running in his blood. He’ll be back, somewhere.
Yeah, I was real busted up about that too. I think the part that irritated me about him was that he really believed that he was clever and “edgy.”
